Your free Woodbloks account

To use the Woodbloks Builder you create a free account with your email address. We email you a link to confirm your email and log in. We do not use passwords.

What we store, why, and on what basis

• Your email address and your account, so you can log in and find your models again. Basis: providing the service you asked for.
• The models and posters you make, and any floor plan you upload. Basis: providing the service you asked for.
• How you use the Builder: which steps and features you use, when, and whether something goes wrong, linked to your account. Basis: our legitimate interest in improving the Builder. You can object at any time.
• The city and country your connection comes from. We do not store your IP address.
• Your plot's address, if you generate the plot from it. We look it up in the Danish public address and land registers to draw your plot. Basis: providing the service you asked for.
• A daily limit on posters. To count them we use a scrambled form of your connection's address that changes every day and cannot be turned back into the address. Basis: our legitimate interest in preventing misuse.
• Your newsletter choice, if you tick the box (see below). Basis: your consent.

AI in the Builder

The project posters are created by AI from the model you build. If you upload a floor plan, AI reads it to draw your plan. We do not use AI to make decisions about you.

Cookies and storage on your device

The Builder saves only what it needs to work on your device: that you are logged in, and a few settings. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, so we do not ask you to accept cookies.

News and updates

If you tick the box when you log in, we email you Woodbloks news and updates. We keep a record of when you said yes. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also write to us. If you do not tick the box, we do not send you news.

Who handles your data

We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers. Our service providers host the website and the database, send the login emails and run the AI that creates the posters and reads floor plans. They only handle your data on our instructions. Some of them may process data outside the EU, for example in the USA. When that happens, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Your account, models and posters: until you ask us to delete them.
• How you use the Builder: up to 12 months.
• Your newsletter choice: while you are subscribed, and for up to 2 years after you unsubscribe, as proof of your choice.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see your data, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it, limit how we use it, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw your newsletter consent at any time. Write to hello@woodbloks.com.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
